Kaleidoscope and Vajrasattva: two invitations
Keeping you in the loop about upcoming events and courses
Hello!
I’d be delighted for you to join me in two online upcoming events: Kaleidoscope of Interaction and a Vajrasattva empowerment. Kaleidoscope is a four week course on patterns of interaction and the empowerment is a 90 minute introduction to a yidam practice for Vajrasattva. Details below.

Kaleidoscope of Interaction, Part I: Liberating Perception
Four 90 minute sessions, February 18th to March 11th, 7:00 pm ET
Evolving Ground is hosing another iteration of my Kaleidoscope of Interaction course soon. If you’d like to find more presence in your relationships and change out some old habits, sign-up!1 We split it into 3 parts and the upcoming Part I is now a manageable four weeks.
Here’s what to expect:
Kaleidoscope of Interaction started as a five month series in 2023, exploring patterns of interaction: the habitual ways we perceive the world and respond accordingly. By finding awareness in these patterns, our daily interactions in all walks of life become more alive.
Since then, I’ve run Kaleiedoscope in various forms, in person and online, with Jared Janes and Evolving Ground apprentices. It expanded! We’ve turned it into a three part series, a self-contained system of practices connected to perception, interpretation, and response: the three parts of a pattern of interaction.
Note: Attendance to Part 2 & 3 require having attended Part 1 or a past Kaleidoscope course.
There are four sessions (Wednesdays @ 7 pm ET):
• February 18th: An overview of Kaleidoscope, including a framework for understanding patterns of interaction
• February 25th: Introducing Liberating Perception, and how to discover effortless awareness in perceptions
• March 4th: How perception connects to interpretation, and how to recognize interpretations when they arise
• March 11th: What to practice, plus connections to the remainder of the Kaleidoscope series
Vajrasattva yidam practice
90 minutes, online, Saturday February 21st, 10:30 am ET
Vajrasattva is a Tibetan yidam (meditational deity), who aids in purification and preparation for Tantric practice.
We have several Vajrasattva practices in Evolving Ground, each with an English envisionment text. These take the place of traditional liturgical sadhana practice and they include instructions for how to evoke the deity in mind. Vajrasattva practice can arise from and dissolve into Opening Awareness, spontaneously or intentionally.
Our Vajrasattva practices are gentle and moving. In this session, part of an eG practices series, I’ll lead you through the invocation and practice. You will be able to practice Vajrasattva on your own later. Participants will get access to the text and instructions.
This event is for the Evolving Ground community. It’s free to join and you can do so here.
After the introduction and transmission, we’ll have time for questions and some group discussion.
That’s all for now!
Thank you for subscribing,
Charlie
